The Committee on State Building and Local Self-Government recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law to amend the Law “On Election of the People's Deputies of Ukraine” (re training for managerial positions in the district election commissions)

The bill (Reg. No. 2151) suggests withdraw from the current version of the law provisions on mandatory training by persons claiming to work on managerial positions within the district election commissions.

Adoption of the bill will promote more effective implementation of the constitutional right of citizens to participate in elections and creation of more efficient procedure of establishment and organization of the district election commissions.
